The Identity Branding project was to create a brand identity with a background story and a logo, then advertise the brand technologically, physically and design a package set.
I really enjoyed animating this short ad to promote the Luthier Exhibit. The way the words fade in and out give off a calm feeling. The logo was separated into layers so it could be animated to bounce like a spring as it appears on the screen and then again at the end giving it life. The music chosen for the ad contributes to the calmness, as well as, a homie feeling. ​​
When designing the plaque, I liked the layered color border that the logo had but around the plaque it seemed like it needed a little more. That's when I added a black boarder around each color shape and varied the size of the lines from thick to thin to resemble guitar strings. When it came to the body copy typeface, I just used the same typeface as the logo.
